About Me
My name is Suzi Corbett and I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic in 2006. Since then I have worked as a chiropractor in Guildford, Godalming, Sutton and Loxwood. From 2008-2012 I owned and ran a busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Godalming. I returned to work at Guildford Chiropractic Centre from 2014 - 2016. In October 2016, I moved to Devon and am currently based between Moretonhampstead and Dunsford. However, I still return to Surrey on a regular basis to continue working at the Holistic Centre in Godalming and seeing Equine & Canine clients in Surrey and Sussex.
Prior to chiropractic I also gained an MA in Physiological Sciences from Somerville College, Oxford University, which started off the studying bug! Since then I have furthered my training in chiropractic by studying Dry Needling Therapy (Western Acupuncture), Sacro-Occipital Technique, Cranial Chiropractic techniques, Kinesiotaping Method, Myofascial Release techniques and the prescription and fitting of international College of Biomechanics Orthotics. My aim is to provide a gentle holistic approach to chiropractic care, taking into account the whole person and their lifestyle. I am a great believer in preventative care and enjoy working with people to ensure they stay well and pain free.
I am also a qualified McTimoney Animal Practitioner. I have a particular interest in the chiropractic treatment of horse-riders and as part of my Masters study I have written a thesis looking at Asymmetry in Horse-Riders, aiming to further our knowledge about the horse-saddle-rider interaction. Having ridden horses for nearly all my life, I am aware of the impact of musculoskeletal strains on the athletic performance of the horse and have found great benefit to combining treatment of my horse with making sure that I am level and balanced in the saddle through chiropractic care. I have also received training in Equine Kinesiotaping techniques. I am a member of the McTimoney Animal Association and a member of the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).
I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and am a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and part of the Animal Faculty. I am a member of the British Chiropractic Association. I am registered with all major insurance companies including AXA PPP, BUPA and Simply Health.
